Sleeping disturbance can also be associated with a number of other issues so be aware that you may need to deal with one or more of these to get lasting good sleep. The more obvious ones are Anxiety, Stress, PTSD, Negative Self-talk, and Depression. But there is also the less obvious: cognitive arousal, poor work/life balance, diabetes, weight and undesirable habits of various kinds might be preventing good sleep. Some medications damage your sleep. Inflammatory diseases, pain or other things that cause less than adequate comfort may also need to be addressed. Sleep itself is a healing balm and can help you get over a lot of things if you give it a chance.
